Here's my "try" for the stampin on Tuesday Just had to use the Howdy from the old stampin up set Happy Trails Baja Breeze :( sorry to see you go!!
The brown/blue embossed piece is the acrylic distress technique
1. paint cardstock with acrylic paint - use a sponge or foam paint brush to spread the color- you don't need a lot just a thin coat.( this is the color that will peak through )
2. Let Dry
3. Pick your embossing folder and run through the big shot.
4. Using the sanding block, buff off the raised areas of the embossed piece and your background
color will show. Now create your card and wow everyone with your two toned card stock!!
I also distressed the edges of some of the layers because, well distressed and roughin it go together!!
Thanks for stoppin by Try Stampin on Tuesday challenge 120 sketch

ReplyDeleteI really love what you have done with this stamp set! I got it a long time ago, and no matter how badly I wanted to use it, I just couldn't come up with any sketches or ways to make any of the images look good. Thank you so much for the inspiration!!! I am excited to pull this stamp set off my shelf!
