TSOT 442 Patel Colors Happy BIrthday!

My goodness, can you imagine one month of 2020 is almost over, My how time flies!
My card uses the Happy Birthday to You Stamp set from the Sale-a-bration (SAB) catalog. If you’re not familiar with it that’s a small catalog that is put out by Stampin Up that you can get the products free from with a qualifying purchase from the main and mini catalogs that Stampin’ Up has. I liked the set when I first saw it and now I like it even more! Stampin’ up has brought out some dies to help cut it out with.  These will be available Feb and  March while supplies last.

I designed this card following our sketch and optional theme-pastels- for a card class.  I wanted to show off the Embossing folder along with the cake, more of a clean and simple card. Looking forward to seeing what you will come up with! Thanks for stopping

TSOT 441 Weather or Not

Happy Tuesday! Another week has rolled around and that means another challenge. Today our sketch is a throwback # 83 from  years ago before I was ever a part so this is a new one for me.  The stamp set and punch are available as a bundle from the mini catalog that stampin’ up put out in January. It is called Weather or Not.  I used a piece of foil paper for the diagonal because I don’t have anyway to do foiling. The card is an interactive card that I made for a friend. I have another post with a card using this die from Lawn Fawn.  It’s the posting right before this one called -fun cards for my stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by I do hope that you will hop on over to all the other blogs and join us in this challenge.

Fun cards for my stash!!

I had a card that I had to get made, and decided to make some extra for my children’s card stash. Seems like it is always empty because there are so many nieces and nephews which equals tons of great nieces and nephews! I love to make interactive cards for them. This card uses the lawn fawn magic picture changer die. Which one do you like best? 😀

Pull the tab and a new picture emerges, ohhhh what fun!!

TSOT 440 Mix up challenge

Mix up Challenge these are fun and I choose to use both.   I used Watercolor paper for this card. I colored each section with the marker and stamped it down by using the stamparatus. That tool is so handy you can do detailed coloring like this one,  color one section at a time with markers -the stamp is left in place and stamped over and over giving you Exact placement every time!! I then took a watercolor brush and pulled color from each of the sections to add depth with a lighter shade. So yes I did the theme which is wet, and the sketch is right on this time.😊. This is a free set for Sale-A-Bration with Stampin Up, it’s earned when you place a qualifying order. Stampin Up has a mini catalog with a wide range of stamps/DSP/a cutting die that matches a stamp set/ twine&sequins combo pack/a card kit/a punch that matches a stamp set
So much for you to choose from!! If you don’t have a demonstrator and are interested contact me at vmilyard@gmail.com I’d love to help you.
Stamp set: Happy Birthday to You
Stampin Markers and aqua painter (watercolor brush)
Birthday Bonanza DSP
Seam Binding Ribbon-whisper white colored with aqua painter and marker.

The Joy of Sets Blog Hop something new!!

Welcome to the first blog hop of the year for The Joy Of Sets! Thank you for hopping over.
I decided to make a gift bag and card all in one. Have you ever made a bag like this where the card hangs on the front of the bag? It’s a nice decoration for the bag and the card won’t get lost. I made the card with Stampin’ Up’s new tulip set - so that’s my new thing.  Actually I was at a friends house and stamped  the tulips to take home, it’s not my set. I have some new products coming but they’re not here yet. The bag I decorated with some stamps that I found is my stash then used the lovely new tulips on the card as the focal image. It’s always nice to have a pretty bag to use and my supply was rather depleted.

Hoppin around seeing what everyone has created is a lot of fun for you! Know what would make it extra special for all of us?  😏 leaving us a comment!  Sometimes we are extra excited to do these hops and then wonder if anyone likes what we've made.

Hop on over to Alejandra Gomez, she's next in the line up(couldn't get the link on the graphic so click on her name above the graphic to go to her blog) or if you missed one you can click on their name below and it will take you to their blog. We have a lot of really nice projects by all who made a project for this first blog hop.        Thanks for hoppin over, ENJOY!!

TSOT 439 ThankYou

Happy New Year !  Wow it is hard to believe that 2020 is here !  Another year to use our stamps, ink, cardstock, embelishments, embossing folders........ I could go on and on :0)   Are you a beginner stamper? seasoned stamper?   I guess I'd consider myself a seasoned stamper that likes to play around with stamping.  Not just for cards but also home decor and packaging. Are you new to us this year or one of our 'oldies"  whichever one you are, please join in on the fun and if you have a moment leave a comment once in a while.

Aren’t new stamps fun to play with? Tulips always remind me of spring they pop up and they’re so beautiful, sometimes we get snow around here and there they are standing in all their glory and beauty. These tulips come out of the new mini catalog Stampin’ Up has out, it runs from Jan to July. January through March is a great time to get something new, it’s Sell-a-bration time! Here in the United States for every $50 you spend you get to pick a free item out of a catalog that has Specially made items Available only during these months. It has a wide range of items in it I’m sure there would be something in it that you would like, Stamps, DSP, ribbon packs, card kits…If you would like to see the mini catalog or the sell-a-bration catalog please contact me I would love to share them with you, and if you do not have a demonstrator I would love to help you get some wonderful products  that you could us and make lovely cards with.
A Friend and I got together and we used this set from the mini catalog that she had gotten, One of the perks for being a demonstrator is that we can get the stamps early before the catalog goes live. They have an extra special offer right now if anyone is thinking about signing up now is a good time to do it!
This set did not have the pot in it, I decided I wanted my tulips in a pot so I scrounged ground and found this in another set that I have. The good thing about these tulips is that it comes as a bundle with a punch that will cut out a larger tulip. I’ve used the smaller tulip on this card and used my stamp scan N cut machine to cut them mainly because that was going to be quicker then cutting them by hand. They could be cut by hand fairly easily I was just meeting to get this card done and since I had a page of stamped images I used my scan N Cut.
Thank you for coming by I do hope that you will enjoy this year of Stamping and maybe stretch yourself to learn something new and try new things. Be sure and check out all the design team members!
