TSOT #468 Christmas in July

Well today I decided to sort my dies. I have many dies from different companies and they were all in two boxes.   I bought some Pages to go in a small notebook. They have different numbers of pockets with a flap closure. There are pages that have 2, 3, and 4 pockets also one big zippered pocket in a few.  I received the pages but not the notebook, so I’m Anxiously waiting to get it.  I believe this will make finding the dies  that I want so much easier. While doing this I  put all my  Impression Obsession dies in one place. Remembering that this theme was coming up -Christmas in July I decided to use some of them. I’m not sure which one of these two cards I like the best.  What’s your favorite?😊 white on white or the colored one?

PS my notebooks arrived and yea I had ordered 2 so I’ve put all my sentiment dies in one and the other is miscellanies.  I love them!

TSOT # 467 Summer fun!!

Worked on this card and when I finished it I realized I probably should’ve made my pull up blue so that it looked like the sky. Oh well there’s always another time to make one that might look correct. Create a scene what does that mean to you, I thought of this lawn fawn set that I got recently called hi5 I thought the little animals are so cute and the trampoline, So that’s my scene.
Have a nice day and I do hope you’ll join us with this sketch and theme!

Bonus Days

Just thought I'd add this since I'm a Stampin' Up demonstrator.   It is always nice to receive something "free"  and that's what this is all about.  If you spend (yep that's the fine print πŸ˜‰  )  $50.00 in July you'll receive a $ 5.00 coupon to use in Aug. from Stampin’ Up.   The more you spend in increments of $50.00 the more you’ll have to use in the new holiday catalog that’s coming out in August!

Bonus Days. Earn in July, spend in August.

Sunflower not citrus!! TSOT # 466

I received some new stamps and had to play. I really like sunflowers they are so big and cheery. I guess they’re not all big -  when we went to visit my husband’s brother in Colorado there was a bunch of small sunflowers growing along the roads where he had some ranch land, and they sure were cute. I’m not sure why I didn’t get this with my first order but I have it now! I colored the flower  and the leaves with blenders, used the new color midnight madness for the base and DSP, the ribbon is also Moonlight madness.
Followed the sketch
I suppose you can tell that I did not follow the picture other than the yellow color. I also turned the card base and used a sunflower for the circle. When you get a new stamp set do you just feel like you need to make something with it?  I have a couple other new ones that I’m going to be working on next, thought I’d try making a card with each new thing that I received. Hopefully I’ll be able to show them here sometime so don’t forget to stop back by even if it’s not Tuesday😊 !! have a great day, and  it would be an absolutely fabulous day if you would join us and make a card so we could see what this  Challenge  inspires you to make.

Joy of Sets Blog Hop-Christmas in July

WHAT  christmas???? Yep We're having fun with a Christmas in July event.

Nothing like making Christmas related projects while it is in the 90's.  😊. Snowflakes and holly not sure it’s making me feel any cooler but it’s been fun creating these. I’ve had the small cork boards around for ages and decided to do something with them.  Sorta designed with two sisters in mind, time will tell if that's who they end up going to.  Snowflakes for the Florida girl so she has a bit of the north and a reminder of the cold that the rest of the family lives with..  My other sister will like this other one I believe.  thinking I'd like to find some push pins that coordinate with the two boards to add to this gift.

WOW!!! there are 19 of us in this hop - I do hope you'll make it around to see what everyone has done and maybe you'll get some inspiration for a homemade gift or a winter/ Christmas card to make for this  December.
Thanks for stopping by and now the next in line is Rochelle Laird-Smith get ready to take a BIG 'hop' she's located in Australia and that's a good distance from here in the little berg of Brookville, Ohio USA just click on her name below and you'll be taken there.

Jar of flowers

I made this card for one of my classes that has not been able to meet since the country has shut everything down. This group is in an elderly  apartment complex, They are a joy to be with just wish I could get back to see them. So until that happens I’ve been making card kits and sending them with the daughter of one of the ladies that lives there. I sent this card with all the directions and  everything They will need to complete it.  I included two other flowers so they can pick what they wanted to use and have two more for other cards that they designed. I really like this  soft seafoam card stock it’s such a nice soft  color for a background. And this new embossing folder dainty diamonds 3-D is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

Homemade DSP
