Color Wash technique

Just wanted to share these beautiful cards made by three other ladies:  this is a new technique , one that I will be trying.  Fairly easy to do just follow the steps below.
step 1:  Emboss White the Flowers on Colored Cd. Stock all of these used a brown tone

step 2;  Next using the Aqua Painter and the Craft Whisper White pad and reinker paint the inside of the flowers.  Add the reinker to the inside of the lid (Whisper white pad) use this and the aqua painter with a little water in it to pick up the ink and paint the inside of the flowers.

step 3; Let stand to dry or use Heat gun (Who wants to wait!!) After it is dry you can add color for depth and the center if desired - the second sample did this (use the blender pen here:  squeeze the ink pad of your choice while closed to put some of the color on the inside lid then pick up color and add where you desire)

Snowing this evening!!

I thought it was time for SPRING!!!!!!

Photopolymer -clear-stamp sets!!!!!

Photopolymer Stamps

We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

25 yearSPRING IS ON THE WAY at least that's what all of us in the North are wishing for, here is another of the Stampin' Ups Best of stamp sets one each month will be offered, still learning how to add from other sites to my blog so I'll try to get the others posted also.  Anyone interested please contact me at vmilyard@yahoo.com  thanks

Triple time measurements

Just thought I'd add the measurements for the Triple Time Stamping cards

the neutral piece that is stamped on will be as follows

2 x 3 1/4
3 x 4 1/4
4 x 5 1/4     another 4 x 5 1/4 could be cut for the inside of the card

MAT- colored pieces

2 x  3 1/2
3 1/4 x 4 1/2
card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2

as I said in an earlier post, layer the neutral pieces with a removable tape then stamp.
take this apart then put in the "mat" pieces- you're finished unless you want to add any embellishments

this is such a fun and easy way to make a card that looks so good it can be used with any stamp set with stunning results have fun and lets make some cards!!!

Praise the Lord for people who know computers and are willing to help.  Stephanie helped me figure out that the resolution # on the pictures from my new camera won't let me download so now I know how to change that and am good to go.  These valentines cards pictures I tried to put on the blog and couln't before I learned how.   Thanks

Triple time stamping
this is soooo easy to do.  the white layers are put together with repositional tape and then stamped.  Take apart and put the colored layers under the white pieces.  Be sure not to turn the white pieces or the image will not line up correctly.

springtime butterfly

sorry it's been so long since I've added anything, seems I haven't been able to download any pictures - not sure what's going on.  Made this last year with a dear friened.  Thanks for looking.
