TSOT challenge 499

Oh dear no butterflies!!!  Guess I could have put a couple on the flowers but just didn't. I've been playing with the new Stampin Up Butterfly bundle and guess I needed a break. See you don't have to follow the challenge theme.  I used a large floral stamp from Altenew, stamped on crumb cake and colored with copics, cut in half so I'll have 2 card fronts.  Embossed with the brick wall folder from stampin up and the tags sentiments are from the Band Together stampin up set.  Heat embossed with white embossing powder and punched the ends with the Lovely You pick a punch.

This is an easy challenge sketch to follow, why don't you give it a try....  thanks for stopping.

Spring is coming!! Stamping Inkspirations blog hop

March is here and has been, I guess we're pretty close to half the way through the month.  This is a busy month for our family.  Three of the six of us have birthdays in a 10 day stretch.  My sons birthday is the last of the three and his birthday is today.   We also have a few other family members with birthdays-- busy busy month.

I am so ready for spring, I'm not sure why but this has been a long winter. (maybe all the Covid gunk)

I have a few different springy cards to show you and a little basket.  When you think of spring what comes to mind?  For me it is flowers, humming birds, butterflies, and bunnies.

This first card was made with my Art Impressions stamps and it just jumps out and says spring! Did you catch the bunny peeking out from the flowers?  I'm sending this to a friend that is having surgery, she loves the outdoors and has beautiful flowers and feeders for the birds.

These next three cards are birthdays and encouragement cards.  They have been made with Stampin' Up supplies.  The hummingbird was a Sale-A-Bration set which I really have loved using, I'll be doing more with this set!
The butterfly cards are from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set that will be available in the 2021-2022 catalog.  It is a early sneek peek AND can be purchased by all right now. This bunny is a little basket and I may have to make some more of them for my grandchildren, oh so cute. (the pattern is not original to me)

Thanks for stopping by, I know all the others will have great projects for you and ME to hop around and see.  I love seeing what others make, it gives me inspiration and joy.  We need more joy in this world today and hopefully we've given you a little on this hop.  So sit back, relax and keep hopping--you'll next be hopping over to Aurelie Fabres.  The full list is below, all the links should be connected with the names but if you keep hitting the next button on each blog post it will take you right through all of them.  Have a wonderful time hopping and a great weekend.  Just a reminder to US people the time will be changing tomorrow, we spring forward and loose an hour.

TSOT challenge 497 - Large sentiments

Hey I'm back this week. Sometimes life gets busy and we can't always make it to the craft room.  I know that is just terrible, right!!  I've had this Hugs die set for quit a few years and just haven't used it much.  When I realized that our challenge was for large sentiments I decided to pull it out.  This is an old wood mount stamp set I've had for years also and always really liked it, there is just something about long stemmed flowers, I also really like calla lilies they are so elegant!

I saw a robin the other day, that usually means spring is coming. I'm hoping we've seen the last of winter,  BUT I know that here in Ohio we can be fooled.  It snowed a LOT the weekend my husband and I got married way back on April 4th in  1987.  Wonder what the weather is like where you live.  You could leave a comment (tee hee) and then let me know😏

Thank you for stopping and taking a peek here, hope your day is a good one with some crafting/stamping included.

New family members!

2 new greats were born since the first of the month and I finally got cards made.   Sadie Mae joined our niece Rebecca’s family and Eric “J...
