Made this card a few weeks ago and thought I'd add today as I'm on my laptop. I featured this set at a card class and made up a few different cards to show my ladies. I'm not normally a bright pink girl but I like the way this turned out and my ladies liked it.
White embossed on vellum (keep your heat gun moving when using on vellum)
colored on back side then attached to whisper white. It can be hard to do this without seeing the adhesive but I think I found a way for this card. I used a sponge and tombo - applied the glue to the sponge - dabbed off a bit then sponged the glue on the back side of the vellum mainly where I colored. I don't think I can see any glue spots and that makes me VERY happy!!
thanks for stopping by and I'd love to know what you think?
Welcome to my little corner on the web. I want to share with you projects I make and at times share how easy it is to copy! Yes you are to copy any and all you see here, some you'll like and some you may not care for but I hope that won't send you away for good. Let's have a GREAT time stamping and creating.

Lovely Lattice SAB freebie
I don't have a new card for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday but I thought I'd add this card I made here on my blog.
I watched a video of a card maker doing a lead pencil coloring and wanted to try it. I think it turned out nice. I did fussy cut around the image then added to the card base. The circle cut out has the new doily die behind it. I used a stump (tool used for dry blending) to shade the pencil some.

TSOT # 392 Metallic Madness
Hello and welcome - for the next 2 weeks our challenge has the theme of Metallic Madness. This is card is doing double time, made for my stamp camp and this challenge. I used a Copper Metallic sheet with the new and absolutely wonderful stitched rectangles from the 2019 Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up. Copper embossing that looks metallic :0) was used on the Wonderful Romance stamp set that is also in that new catalog. There are sooooo many great sets in this catalog that is was hard to decide what to get. It is the best time of the year to buy and join Stampin' Up. The Sale-A-Bration catalog also came out in Jan. This catalog has FREE products in it, who doesn't like a freebie?! I know I do and I was able to get a few because I placed a qualifying order earlier this month. If you're interested and don't have a demonstrator I'd be happy to help you out and get you a catalog so you can go shopping in the comfort of your home.
Here is the sketch for the challenge I enlarged the square on the front to fit everything on and to use the stitched rectangles! click HERE and you'll go directly to Try Stampin' On Tuesdays page.

The Joy of Sets Blog hop - Easel card
I have always enjoyed going on a "blog hop". The group picks a theme, color scheme, or a sketch (something along those lines) and all the members follow it and create cards, posting with a next & previous button makes it easy to "hop" along and quickly see all the cards. These are to inspire you to create one of your own! 😊
I am so excited to be a part of this - The Joy of Sets blog hop!!!!! (MY very first) Our card design was to be an easel card. Now if you've ever been on pinterest there are a ton of tutorials and many different ways to make an easel card. I've made this style of card in the past and always liked doing so-they really are easy. We were also challenged to use something new/free. Being a Stampin' Up demonstrator I do have new products, it is the biggest event of the year for us. Sale-A-Bration (SAB) time! That means ( if you don't know) purchase product in the designated amount for where you live (US, Canada, UK....) and you can pick a FREE item in the SAB catalog!!!! These items are only available for FREE (did I already say that?!😊) from Jan. - March. There are stamp sets, designer series paper pack, wooden elements, ribbon bundle-5 colors- and even a die that will match a set that is in the annual catalog. So you see/read there really are a lot of choices and they are oh so wonderful, you may have a hard time just picking one, that's okay you can pick one, two, three,four,five..... 😂 The Occasions Catalog also was released in Jan and let me tell you their are some WONDERFUL products in it. I enjoyed making my "like" list - ohh to big- so I remade it again and again. For those of you who have a lot of men to send cards to their is even a Bundle of products that would be super for them.
My card was made with one of the FREE products - Lovely Lattice. I decided to do an oval easel card for a bit of change. I love the look of the Pergamano technique and decided to do it also. You stamp in white on Vellum card stock (letting it dry for about 20 min) then using a stylus tool gently trace on the backside so the image "stands out" and is accented somewhat. You don't want to rip the vellum so when I say gently I mean gently, I usually do this on the pierce mat - one that isn't used to pierce or you could just use a piece of foam. Tracing more than once or gently going back and forth in the same spot will work. I also used my bone folder to lightly shade (on the back still) the petals. A bit of fussy cutting and pearls to top it off. Attaching the vellum to card stock without it being seen through the vellum on the front is always a problem for me. If you know of any adhesive that will work with vellum please leave me the answer in the comments below.
(I couldn't decide which background showed off the card best so I decided to put both on - I know a little overkill)
Thank you so much for "hopping" in, I sure would Love to know what you think of my vision. Have a Wonderful Day and make some time to relax and Stamp.

Mix It Up Challenge #1 for TSOT
Hello, I'm back with another card for this new type of challenge!!! This is called a Mix Up Challenge- meaning you use the sketch only(seen below), or the Technique only, OR Both this sounds like a lot of fun RIGHT? I opted to use both. I was excited to use some new products that I received from either the Stampin' Up Celebration catalog or Sale-A-Bration (SAB) freebie 😊 Well when I started looking at the sketch and the products I received, the SAB product Home to Roost jumped up and said Use me...Use me!!!!😊 It was so handy that their just happened to be a sentiment that followed the technique with two different fonts.
I'm a farmers wife and we have many different kinds of animals on our small farm. When I saw this set I knew I wanted to get it. I had to try a very realistic coloring of this rooster, was going for a Bard Rock or Silver Laced Wyandot. I was told I got close but not quite right. Oh well at least I enjoyed myself and have a card to send out to a friend.
I do hope you come and join us with this fun sketch and technique. I will enjoy looking at all the entries for the next 2 weeks on this fun Mix it Up Challenge. Be sure to check out all the other designers cards, we all see things so differently.

TSOT #390 Bold & Bright
Hello.....and Happy New Year!!!! I missed the first challenge of this year, just to busy around the holiday. I did make a card for my son who's birthday is on the 25th but forgot about it going up on the first and didn't follow the theme or the sketch. Sometimes that's ok but I really didn't have time to download and do all that it takes to post. Sorry
Here is my card for this one, I had another birthday card to make for a nephew who grew up with my boys and was here ALOT! He has 3 sisters so he came over quit a bit. 😊😊😊

I used Stampin' Up products, some retired and some current. I love how all their products go together, the paper, inks, ribbon...all match in their color families. No guessing if the colors will clash or not.
Suggested theme : Bold & Bright

Birthday - Dec 25
When someone has a birthday on Christmas day, you would think they might get jipped. Well my son never did, everyone was together and he never went without. Our immediate family always celebrated after the 25th as I always made them the meal of their choice. He's not a little boy anymore- he hit a milestone birthday! He also lives 2 1/2 hours away, I know that's not really all that far but he isn't here for many get togethers.
I have been stamping some, Christmascards, birthdays , card class to get ready for...And using the Stamparatus- what would I do without this tool. It really made lining up the squares so easy and quick.I'm excited for this new year. Stampin' Up has their biggest sale!! It's Time for..................
