I'm always needing a piece of paper in the kitchen, whether it is for my grocery list, or to just write something down that someone has told me, or my list of TO DO's for the day.
small sample of the ones I made these for my rained out craft/vendor sale. Oh well I'll either use them someday or I'll have another event to go to, or you might be the recipient of one. :)
Welcome to my little corner on the web. I want to share with you projects I make and at times share how easy it is to copy! Yes you are to copy any and all you see here, some you'll like and some you may not care for but I hope that won't send you away for good. Let's have a GREAT time stamping and creating.

Everyone needs a Decorated Note pad!!!
Made lots of these for the craft sale. They are decorated note pads that could be used by your home phone so your never without a piece of paper, I know not many have home phones these days. Well then these could be used to sit on an end table so that you have a pretty pad of paper in the room where you most likely would need it. :0)
standing so you can see the thick pad of paper! |

Creative Card Crew #88
Hello and welcome back to Stamping Vicki's Visions! Today is a day for a new challenge wouldn't you say? Here at Creative Card Crew we have challenges every 2 weeks, I can't believe that is has been that long already.
I was busy the last 2 weeks getting ready for a craft sale/Vender expo to see if I could generate any business for my business with Stampin' Up. Yes I am a demo for them and would like to have more activity..... My craft/vender sale was prepared for (during the 2 weeks when I did not have any new postings) and then shortly after setting up it began to spit rain and looked like more was coming. This was held outside and when dealing with paper projects rain is a disaster!!!! so we packed up and left. :(
Ok onto Creative Card Crew business!!!! Challenge #88 is Teen and our sponsor is Kenny K Downloads and they will be giving 3 digi's!!! The other design team members have also been working on inspiration for you so be sure to check them out.
I had many different ideas for this one and tried a few before I came up with the one I wanted to submit. I made a type of white board only the background isn't completely white. I used some designer series paper (DSP) and then added the image. Attached a magnet to the side and added the Dry Erase marker.
Close up of Kenny K download and board with message :)
I colored the image with Copics.
The background DSP is from
Stampin' Up and retired as of
June 1. Sponged the ribbon to
match color in the background
paper. The sponging on the sisters
banner also picks up a color in the
background.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my Vision. I'll be posting more in the days to come so be sure to come back and see what else I've drummed(stamped) up for you in my stamping room. :0)

Small Gift Curvy Box
The curvy box die from Stampin' Up is so versatile. If you have been on my site before you may remember seeing the different ones I made around Fall/Christmas. Here are a few more ideas for this fun little box to use. I made lots of these for my...once again...craft/Vendor sale that was rained out. The butterfly and star will not be ruined when opened, just cut them in half and attach to either side of the little handle.
here are two back links for some but not all I've made :)

Creative Card Crew #87 Embossing Wet or Dry
Hello and welcome to another Creative Card Crew challenge, I'm so glad you stopped by. This time we are wanting to see some Embossing/ wet or dry. Our sponsor is Sparkle N Sprinkle and they have generously offered ..... Up to $15 in Digi's
I did three different forms of dry embossing and one was even a throw back to the old light table. Anyone remember ?? before the Big Shot/ Sizzix Machines this is how we embossed :0) (see photo at end of post)
my VISION:
this is a close up of the flower, I'm not sure you can tell in the picture but after I colored it with my copics I turned it over and took my MCGill tools and mat to trace around the petals with a small point stylus then used a larger one to go over the back of all the petals. This made them poof out a bit off the page. I also sprayed the front of the card with Glitter Dust to give it a little more sparkle.
Here it is!!! the old light table have you ever used one? If you have one do you even know where it is anymore? For my 2nd type of embossing I decided to use an old Etching Stencil to add border around the piece on the inside of the card. I also followed through with the die cut flower theme on the inside top panel. What do you think?

In case your wondering I did use the Big Shot on this(my third type of embossing): The dots on the front were done with an embossing folder and the big shot. The die cut on the front/inside is called Wildflower corner from Memory Box It is new and I just think it is so beautiful!!! I can see me using this one again and again.
Well thanks for stopping by, don't forget to check out all the other designers and then join in on the fun with a card that you embossed for a chance to win the fabulous gift from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
p.s. just thought you'd like to know..... I love reading comments and will read them all!! :0) so if you'd be so kind to leave me a word, know it will be appreciated.

Crazy About You #4
It's time to get Crazy again!!! The 4th of my Crazy About You cards. This one is different in that I used a couple different techniques. I've shared this before but if you missed it here it is again. Stamping on a variety of products is neat and gives the card a little something extra to it.
I used Fun foam on this card; first I cut it with a word from the Hello You Thinlits and heated it to shrink the image, I like to use the kind with the adhesive already on the back so that when I'm done heating it will stick. This just saves me a step of adding adhesive and I've found that it actually shrinks better than the kind without adhesive. (hmmm possibly not all fun foam is made the same?!) second I stamped the flower on a piece of colored foam, heat a LITTLE to set the ink, cut it out then heated again to shrink. I liked how it gave the added height and texture to the flower. The DSP behind the happy came from the sellabration catalog - just Loved it!! hope there are some pattern in the new catalog which by the way will be coming out in June of this year....yes that is only a month away so if there is something you really want from the 2014-15 catalog you'd better be checking out if it is discontinued or not. Just click on the link below and it should take you to a listing of all the retired products.Stampin' Up retired list

Crazy About You #2
Here is my second card with this set: this one is a CASE card from pintrest If you don't know what CASE stands for I'll be happy to tell you; Copy and Share Everything
Often I see something that catches my eye and I just love it but do not have ALL the products that they used sooo I improvise with what I do have, that is how this card came about. The idea wasn't mine but I did alter a few things. I'm pretty sure that everything I used to make this card is from Stampin' Up; the 2 embossing folders used - perfect polka dots at the top and the delicate designs along the white edge that I cut by hand are both retiring from the current catalog. If you would be interested in looking at all that is retired (much of it is discounted) just click on this: retired list for Stampin' Up
Thanks for stopping by and seeing this second card in the Crazy About You line up.

Crazy About You #1
I met with my once a month stampers at Sharons' and we made this beautiful card with the Crazy About You stamp set from Stampin' Up (everything used on this one is from Stampin' Up) It is in the Occasions catalog, it has 3 images and 30!!! yes I said 30 sentiments that can be mixed and matched up!!! Oh and that isn't all the goodness of this set, the 2 flowers match up with 2 of the hand held punches: 1-3/4 Scallop circle and the new punch that is also in the Occasions Catalog ; Flower Medallion Punch (there is also a stamp set to go with this punch- 4 different images and 2 centers).
You can see that we stamped the flower multiple times and then after punching the first one used scissors to trim down the other 2 layers for a dimensional looking flower. The base of the card was sponged with one of the 2 packs of Decorative masks and the happy was cut with the Hello You Thinlits Die and has 4 different sayings (hello, you, happy, thanks). We used some DSP to add a little color, I like how it draws the flower and words all together since the colors are on it.
Stampin' Up has put out their retired list and it is a long one, if you are at all interested in any products you can purchase them through me if you don't have a demonstrator I can be contacted through my gmail account : vmilyard@gmail.com To see the retired list just click here Stampin' Up Retired list This page will have the weekly specials, clearance rack, occasions catalog, retired list.... just find what interests you then contact me through the gmail account.
Thanks for stopping by, I love to hear what others think of my Visions and DO read each comment!! Have a wonderful day and if you want to see more with this set come back I've been playing with it and have more to post-they will be under Crazy About You 2,3,4, and 5 all lined up for this week. Now be sure to stop back by, I have done a couple unusual things with this set - one hint is shrinking the images!! sooo you'll have to stop back by if you are interested. Have a lovely week.

Tin Can Vase with homemade flowers
I told you yesterday if you stopped by to come back to see my vase made out of a tin can, It is so easy to stay within a budget if you just stop and look around your house for things that could be used in craft making. The only part of the flower arrangement that wasn't handmade is the spray of little white balls. I made everything else out of card stock. I made oodles of these for a wedding reception that I had in Ohio for my Son and Daughter-in-law. They were married in her home state and many of our family/friends couldn't attend.
Have you used something in your house/office... in an unusual way? I'd love to hear about it and see a picture. Have a super weekend, thanks for stopping back to see the flower arrangements and if you didn't see yesterdays post you should jump back and see my tin can wrapped package.
(sorry for the shadow I'm still trying to figure out how to take pictures without that!)
