Tea anyone?

I have a dear friend who loves tea and we drink together as often as we can.  Her birthday was yesterday so I made her a tea pot brithday card.  I used the ovals framelits altered some to use and put together this tea pot.  I saw some on a couple other web sites so I guess this wasn't exactly original to me but I took the idea and made it my way.  Thanks for looking.

Double fold cards

Stamping with my sister in Florida, she made a card and I worked on my second card.  I made the top one first and then decided to try a different shape and made the bottom card. The front flap is held down with some imge: here the butterfly and the 2 kites.

Okay today I did a little sponging on my card vision,  copied from a bday card received WHAT DO YOU THINK??!!??

"Milk filter" flowers

Nothing should be wasted, right?  well this is my milk filter flower card.  My son milks a goat and we strain the milk after seeing many of the strainers go in the trash I thought surely there is something I can do with those and what else would I decide on other than stamping!!!!  Now before you get to excited I do want you to know that I did wash the filters before using them :)   So on to the flowers, the pink is a solid stamp and I just stamped then added some highlights with a marker. the orange flowers are an outline stamp and after stamping I added color with a blender pen.  Since these flowers are in the secret garden set I used the die to cut them.  Okay there you have it now I just need to try some other ideas with my milk filters,  come back soon and see the next samples.
