The garden has kept me pretty busy (98qt. green beans, ). We raise most of our own food- garden, cows, pork, turkey, chickens...... I can just about year round but more so in the summer when the garden is producing. Tonight I made Lemon Zucchini Bread, yum yum! Okay enough of that on to stamping
.
I have had these 2 stamp sets and framelit for about a month and haven't had time to play with them. It was so much fun to use them tonight and be creative!! I decided to check out some of the challenge blogs that I enjoy entering and following, I Love challenges was the one that caught my eye tonight since it encouraged us to use a new product. Let me know what you think of my vision and thanks for stopping by.
Welcome to my little corner on the web. I want to share with you projects I make and at times share how easy it is to copy! Yes you are to copy any and all you see here, some you'll like and some you may not care for but I hope that won't send you away for good. Let's have a GREAT time stamping and creating.

PPA213
Thought I'd try to get a card in before the deadline!!! I know I've had a whole week, well my last week was busy in the garden!!! so today I came to play. I really like this layout for a card, so easy to use and so many different ways to express it. I have really, Loved, LOVED using this new stamp set: Flower Patch it has a framelit die to match and makes it so easy and quick to use. I used watercolor paper for the top layers, the flower and leaves, I stamped, framelit cut then spritzed with water to make the water blead- I think it turned out nice!! I watercolored the new fun frames with pool party used a black marker to go around the raised part then the edge also to make it all Pop!!! I used a punch from the new Itty Bitty Punch pack for the center, the DSP is from the Flashback pack. I'm really pleased with the turn out and thank you for stopping by to see my vision!

Envelope: card gift package
How about a little gift package for a friend, relative, employee.... It was made from 2 envelopes put together and covered with designer paper. The ribbon will hold it closed and if you look inside it has 2 pockets for the gift of cards and envelopes that you will be giving. The ribbon on the inside will also hold a pen for that special someone to write with. Go ahead and put postage stamps on the envelopes and your friend will be ready to pick up this sweet little gift and send off some letters. It would be especially neat to give to a sick friend who you know will need to send thank you cards out (or sympathy cards, just whip up a half dozen thank you, sympathy cards and give them a little gift to make them smile. If you don't know anyone sick or in need of sympathy cards just give to someone to let them know that they are special, sometimes the unexpected gift for no real reason is especially nice and appreciated. Have a wonderful day!!

Endless Birthday Wishes
Photopolymer Stamp set: Endless Birthday Wishes this is a set that is NOT in the catalog but can be purchased for a limited time. It has this cake and a dot stamp then the rest are all words (27 stamps) many of the words are like what I used on this card and some are smaller. I actually placed many of the words on a medium size block and stamped repeatedly on the whisper white to make my own background paper. The main color is Lost lagoon (new in color) rhinestones colored to match the yellow in the DSP paper. Sponged the edges of whisper white with the L. Lagoon.

Stamping with Carole (and Nancy)
Nancy recently purchased the Swallowtail from stampin' up I have been eye-balling this stamp for a long time and just haven't gotten it. It was fun to use and Nancy graciously let me stamp a few to take home to play with so you may see it again in the future. We each made this card and they all turned out differently which is great!! No two people are the same and our personal stamping styles are different as well. Don't you just love this about stamping? I do!!!! here is mine, I had to leave early so I didn't get pictures of the other 2. I heat embossed the swallowtail with white embossing powder then sponged colors over it, starting with the lightest to cover all then adding 2 colors in the center to give it depth. I like it, shows the detail in the butterfly beautifully, clean and simple!! thanks for looking and I sure do enjoy reading comments!!!

Mini Box
How about a mini box that is made using NO adhesive. It is small but oh so cute, could be used for party favors or a "just because" gift!! (pattern came from another demonstrator)
Card stock and ink Moss Meadow New in color and I LIKE!! :o) (little whisper white)
DSP and Ribbon to decorate in the hello honey (also in color) and rhinestones.
three of these can be made from one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 ( just so you know this box will stay together without the ribbon around it!! But doesn't it look great with the ribbon!!!!)

Inking an Acrylic block-Beautiful technique!!
I Love how this card turned out!!! I used a layer of non stampin' up die cut shaped cardstock. The top piece is on watercolor paper. I colored on an acrylic block with 4 different blues then spritzed liberally with water and stamped the block directly on the watercolor paper. the water made the blues all blead together and create a lovely sky look!! At least I think so....what do you think?

Pheasant Run card class
Two cards made up for my group, I often use retired sets for this group since they are elderly and the wooden won't accidentally fall off. The two cards for today will be using both retired and current.
This first card uses a current hostess set and a retired background set a punch and embossing folder, oh yes a corner rounder.
the inside of the card needs to look nice also!!!!

Independence Day card and Jamberry Nail Wraps!!
I can't believe that I haven't posted anything since May!!! what happened to June??? well let me tell you. One of my sisters got married the first of the month and my baby sister who lives in Florida came for the wedding and was here for about 3 weeks and I couldn't not spend time with her, even when she was at my Dads in another state. After being gone from home for about 5 days let me tell you the gardens sure did need attention and have been going wild ever since. We have had rain and then more rain, not necessarily a lot at a time but enough to make the gardens really GROW including weeds that need to be pulled, seems like every time I turn around!! Enough of that.... I have been busy outside but I did have some time to stamp just haven't posted. This first post in July I want to wish you all a happy Independence Day, I am so thankful I live in America even with all the strife in Washington D.C. right now. So here it is....
Supplies:
Cardstock; whisper white, night of navy, real red, silver
Ink: Craft white, night of navy, real red(reinker) , silver
Accessories: New Decorative Masks from Stampin' Up, sponge(for white ink), spray bottle(reinker and alcohol mixed) iridescent ice embossing glitter, heat gun
1. Layed a 4.25 x 5.5 piece of the n.of.navy cardstock down then the stars decorative mask(taped this down on my craft mat so it wouldn't move around, sponged with craft white ink and while still wet sprinkled with embossing glitter which I then heated to give the stars a shiney look(probably can't see this in the picture).
2. Same process as step one with a piece of whisper white and the stripes mask, taped all down then took the spray bottle filled with alcohol and colored with the real red reinker and sprayed over the mask to create the stripes. (I think it could have used more red but I used the last that I had so I'll be ordering that Soon!!)
3. Cut the n.of.navy and white with red stripes down to desired size, and used scraps of the red and silver to make banners. the God Bless America was from a retired stamp, I cut with the banner framelit.
This was a fun card to make here the first of July; I have 3 pictures because I wanted you to see my new Jamberry nails with the fireworks design holding my Independence day card. Thanks so much for stopping by and I sure do love to read all the comments!!!
