I decided to do a combination of 2 challenges, Freshly Made Sketches and the color challenge, soft suede, sahara sand, so saffron. I stamped the butterfly with soft suede on so saffron then covered it with versa mark and ran it through the polka dot embossing folder, covered with clear embossing powder and heat set to make it look kinda glassy I don't think this step shows up in the picture. I made my decorative border on the soft suede piece with the petite curly label punch. Mounted all on Sahara Sand, Oh so easy to do: here's how 1. draw a line on your cardstock
2. line up the middle "pointy" part on the side of the punch with the line and then
punch.
3. continue this process across the card stock and there you have a decorative piece with a punch that you may not have thought to use in this way!!
I colored the ribbon Sahara Sand with a sponge and stamp pad - don't forget to do both sides :)
Punched out two petite labels cut the sahara sand one in half to use as a partial border and make the sentiment stand out a little. I stamped the saying from Petite pairs using the soft suede marker and color-selecting what I wanted to stamp from one of the sayings.
Well that's all for today, I sure do thank you for looking and sure would love to get some comments, have a great day
