Here is another sweet little box, it is just the right size to give a little something sweet to a special someone. I covered a clothes pinwith scraps of DSP and put a bakers twine scrap piece through the spring to add a small bow. The flower is made from coffee filters, I used a spritzer filled with reinker/rubbing alcohol. ( one with yellow and one with red gave this beauty!!) Retiring DSP finished off the box I think it is just adorable and the top has 2 pieces that fold down so the box is closed and your treat won't fall out!
Welcome to my little corner on the web. I want to share with you projects I make and at times share how easy it is to copy! Yes you are to copy any and all you see here, some you'll like and some you may not care for but I hope that won't send you away for good. Let's have a GREAT time stamping and creating.

Tall Box
Another box, this one is made with a 12x12 piece of cardstock and it is a fairly good size - just under 6 inches tall and just under 3 inches wide ! I decorated it with some retiring DSP paper thought it would be okay for either male or female. The bakers twine I used to decorate the box with is from sale-a-bration this year. Have a wonderful day!

DSP gift bag
I don't normally add posts on the weekends but I just made this gift bag. I have looked at many tutorials for DSP gift bags and like them but I wanted one bigger. This one measures 12" x 7 1/2 , it is 4" wide, just a really nice size. I added an extra piece to the bottom of the DSP for the bottom of bag ( this isn't seen anyway) Folded the top down(1") and added small light weight pieces of card board inside the fold over to add strength for the handle. I braided the twine that matched the decorative piece that runs around the base. You can use single sided dsp for this as I did here or I could see using double sided and turning the top down over the front to see both designs then adding the handle. I did add a light weight piece of card board inside for the bottom to add strength. I will be making more of these to have on hand, it will fold and lay flat for storage :)

Work of Art PPA 205
I was working in my flower beds this morning and took a break for lunch, had to wait for husband to help fix the tractor tire which had a thorn in it so the field work could continue! Sooo while waiting for him I came in to my craft room and decided to work on this sketch from the Pals Paper Arts. I had looked at it the other day and sketched it out to have on my desk and Boom this is what I came up with. I guess I've had flowers on my brain this morning and knew I wanted to use the new Work of Art stamp set that will be available to purchase on June 4th!! I also used the Something to Say set : 17 stamps with a wide range of sayings to use, new also on June 4th. I've also been playing with the new in -colors and here I used 4 of therm, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, and Mossy Meadow. Used the black to make it all pop, kinda wish I had used the basic gray but hey it looks good, at least I think so. The honey yellow is actually the ribbon that I cut to fray. rhinestones and candy dots finish off the front. Thanks for stopping by, hope you like my vision and with that I'm off again to my outdoor flower beds!
Hamburger gift box!!
hummm wouldn't it be so cute to give a gift in this hamburger box? Stampin' Up came out with a new Bigz die for the Big Shot!! It cuts and scores this box and also has 2 tags that can be cut to go with it as well, this is one you'll want to check out!! The cardstock is the new Mossy Meadow (in color) such a rich green, I'm liking it and will be a great fall color. The yellow is the new Hello Honey in the in color colection also 5 new colors for us to play with for 2 years. I stamped on the Mossy with a craft white then cut and assembled. The for you piece was punched with the scallop circle then ran through BShot with the dots embossing folder and I stamped the for you(new hostess set availabe June 4, 2014) with Mossy onto a piece of Moonlight DSP and circle punched. That's it, super easy and such a cute box to put a gift in. The 2nd picture shows the box open, thanks for stopping by and I sure would like to know what you think of my vision!

Oh,Baby We've Grown: FMS 137
I like this fresh sketch (137) from Freshly made sketches! I used the new set again for this one with the new in colors! seem to be reaching for the blackberry bliss quit often since I received it. I like the color combo's in the Moonlight DSP stack, so since I used a piece of it on the one panel I used the Hello Honey as an accent with the ribbon. I de-bossed the Decorative Dots on the top of the card ( the dots are sunk in) thought it would add a little charcter. The markers and blenders were used on the owls, and although you can't see it the scallop tag topper used on the end were I tied the bow. Thanks for stopping by I love to read all the comments!
Graduation
It is that time of the year again, every May/June Graduation invitations start coming. This year we have received only one so I just had to get creative, right? Well with the help of another awsome crafter (QbeesQuest.com) I made a graduation cap and changed up her pattern a little. My cap opens to reveal a card with a pocket for a little extra something for the graduate. This first picture shows the top of the hat, I embossed with black Hat's off to You twice on two opposite corners.
This shows the top of the hat opened back to reveal a congratulations message and pocket.
This is just a side view:
What fun!!!! turn the whole hat over and you will see the hidden treat in the base of the hat - what graduate wouldn't like a some hershey kisses while trying to decide how to best spend their graduation $$
(thanks Brenda Quintana for the directions for this sweet little graduation cap)

MOJO 346
Using up scraps:
Started with the painters tape method behind the flower then added the flower stamped on Vellum. Found the pear pizzazz oval and soft sky apothecary accent die cuts in my scrap pile to use. Added the baked brown sugar banner type shapes behind and put all this on the whisper white that I had sponged with the soft sky. Used Pear Pizzazz (?) glimmer brads - if not they matched- on the brown sugar strip placed on whisper white which really was cut straight I guess when I took the picture it looked jagged and the left edge of the white panel is also really straight. Oh yes, I added some paper piercing for a little dimension on the white panel that matches the soft sky die cut. Thanks for stopping by.

Fold down,tuck in lidded box
This is a nice sized box, I put a Stampin' Up punch in it so you could see the size of it. I like this one with the fold in lid so easy to make, just a little scoring, folding, cutting, adhesive and whala you have a box!!. I really could show you how to make one quickly and easily. On a separate piece of card stock that I added to the top of the box with dimensionals, I embossed the flower in the Blooming with Kindness stamp set then colored it in with a yellow marker. This is a really wonderful set (not retiring!!!) it has this flower in it and then 6 saying. The card stock is Baked Brown Sugar a 2013-2015 in color, such a nice, yummy color I have been using a LOT!!! Have a wonderful week.

I have been making mini boxes lately, probably posted some earlier but this is one of the latest. I put this in my husbands lunch box with chocolate in it!! You'll never guess what I found on my pillow a few days later yep this same little box with some candy in it. Love the pokadots on this, it just makes me smile when I look at it!! Surprise someone you love with a little gift, it doesn't have to be candy just something to let them know that you thought of them.

Card 2 for up coming Pheasant Group
Spring is in the air again today. I was beginning to wonder the first of this month, it really got cold for a few days!! This card uses the Tulip frame embossing folder that will be retiring in June. I'll be sad to see it go but it is always exciting to see what will be coming new! I used the Beautiful Wings Embosslits for the 2 small butterflies, this is still available to buy. This Embosslit is nice because it has a total of 5 cut and embossed butterflies all different in size. The larger b.fly was stamped then punched with an old b.fly punch, I added rhinestones to the middle that I colored black with a sharpie marker. The stamp set was retired a few years ago: Priceless: I often use old stamp sets with this group and it is so much fun!! . The ribbon with flower was recycled from a wedding table decoration given to me. (don't throw it away!! you never know when or how you'll be able to reuse something :) You can't tell from the picture but I used glossy card stock that I still have it really makes this card shine!

Gift Card holder
Good day to you how about a gift card holder. This is made with the retiring Card Base Pop 'n Cuts Base that Stampin' Up has in the catalog right now (till June). The Embossing is a folder from Sale A Bration as is the DSP strip. The Happy Birthday to you! is from the Label Love stamp set and used the matching punch. I just love those matching products!!! they make it so easy to get a nice look!! You too could do it!! just a matter of stamping, punching, running paper through the big shot, cutting, and glueing!!! I could show you just how easy it is, I'm available and would love for you host a workshop. I will coach you and we will have a make and take project that everyone who attends will do.
