TSOT 587 Snowy Days

Our last theme of the year 2022 is snowy days, I can’t believe that this year is almost over!!  Snowy days always makes me think of snowmen. When our boys were young they used to spend so much time outside making snowman, igloos, sliding down the barn hill.  One year they made a snowman for each one of us that’s 6 snowmen. Another year they made a snowman so tall they had to stand on the picnic table just to put the head on it. So much fun!!  I decided to pull out an old stamp set and use it. I used the new puff paint that Stampin Up came out with in their holiday mini catalog. I hadn’t used it yet and thought it would be fun to try it. Not sure I’m crazy about it but I’m sure I’ll figure out something else to do with it. If you have any suggestions for me I sure would love to hear them. Just leave it in the comments below! 😁

Are you all set for Christmas? My husband and I just have a couple more things to get and then we are done. I’m glad we’re not going to have to get into a lot of the chaos in the stores. I already experience that one day waiting about 45 minutes in line. That’s just plum crazy!

I’ve been busy making cards just for fun as I have all my Christmas cards done and sent out. This was a fun card to make and I’ll use it for somebody’s birthday as I have a lot of birthdays that hit in January and February when normally there’s snow on the ground.

Have a great day and merry Christmas and of course- happy Stamping -see you next year.

TSOT 586 plaid for Christmas

Hello, I’m sure glad to be back in the world of Stamping and blogging. I’ve been gone for a long time but I think probably I had a good reason. I had to make an emergency flight to Texas to help care for some grandchildren. Our youngest grandson Jackson(5 months) was a children’s hospital with Infant botulism. They said it’s very rare and only about 100 babies a year get it. Very mysterious as you will never know how he got it. It can come from honey, dirt, air.  He is nursed full-time so they know it wasn’t from honey. This is why babies under a year are not to have honey. Although the circumstances with me flying to Texas were stressful, I had a wonderful time with the two at home that I was caring for while my son was at work. I stayed a little while longer after he came home. He is still having some problems. It affects the muscles in the body. He has a NG feeding tube that they use along with nursing because his neck muscles and sucking reflex was hit hard. He will probably have some therapy as time goes on.

So after getting home, getting sick and spending thanksgiving on the couch 🥴.  I’m finally getting back on my Ohio feet.  I’ve been busy working on bulk production of Christmas cards.  (These will be sent to “special” people in my life as I watercolored them.)

Thanks to all in the Try Stamping family for understanding and giving me time off.  I’ll really work to be a part of all of you again and post my visions. God bless and a very merry Christmas season to you all.
